I help people living with serious illness who feel overwhelmed and overlooked to reduce emotional suffering, restore dignity, and reconnect with what matters most through thoughtful conversations, personalized treatment, and advocacy every step of the way.

• Experiencing depression, anxiety, demoralization, or emotional distress related to serious illness

• Living with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia alongside serious medical illness

• Facing major changes in health, independence, or identity

• Struggling to navigate a complicated healthcare system

• Trying to make difficult medical decisions

• Supporting a loved one through serious illness

I provide virtual psychiatric care for adults throughout New York state. I also offer a limited number of in-person visits to those who are located in or near New York City.

I have chosen to remain an out-of-network physician so I can provide care based on your needs rather than insurance requirements. This allows us greater flexibility in appointment length, treatment recommendations, and the time we spend together. I am happy to provide a superbill that you may submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Before your first appointment, I'll send you a few questionnaires to help me understand your medical and psychiatric history and what has brought you to my practice. The more you can share beforehand, the more our session can focus on the concerns that matter most to you.

Given the complexity of serious illness, it may take more than one appointment to fully understand your situation and develop a thoughtful treatment plan. Please note that not every initial visit ends with a medication prescription.

You will have plenty of time to ask questions about my practice, how I work, and what you can expect from treatment. By the end of the visit, we'll decide together whether my expertise and approach are the right fit for your needs.

Your appointment time is held specifically for you. In order to allow for everyone to be seen in a timely manner, there is a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations, missed appointments, and late reschedules are charged the full fee of the session time.
